How does injection mold work?

The plastic is melted after being heated in the heating cylinder at the bottom of injection molding machine and then enters mould cavity via nozzle of injection molding machine and gating system of the mould based on driving by screw or plunger of the injection molding machine as well as is subject to molding after cooling and hardening. The product arises after demoulding. Its structure is generally constituted by molding part, gating system, guiding fitting, ejecting mechanism,cooling system, exhaust air system and support components. The manufacturing material is generally based on steel module of plastic mould. Commonly used materials mainly include carbon structural steel, tool carbon steel, alloyed tool steel and high-speed steel. Generally, injection molding processing method is only applicable to production of thermal plastic product. Plastic products produced based on injection molding technology are used very widely. Daily necessities as well as various complex machine, electric appliances and vehicle parts are subject to molding with injection mold which is one processing method applied the most widely in the production of plastic products.
